Before starting, keep in mind the following:
- this needs to be configured under a local Windows admin account (install client, configure and run the service from that SAME user, a domain user will NOT work)
- a local account with admin permissions is needed because we need access to the local and roaming folders to read the Nomadesk config files
- foldersync must be used
- that local Windows account must have a password
- there is no UI for syncproblems, you will get a weekly email regarding the status
1. Install the Nomadesk dashboard
2. Log on, turn remember me ON and import the vault as foldersync
3. Click Tools => Service Setup
4. Click Start Service
5. The dashboard will close, and you can see the Nomadesk service running
