Since the most recent update 9.4.0 a few of our users are getting "duplicate" errors.
That means that on myNomadesk.com the same file or folder exists with only a difference in capitals. Our legacy sync engine didn't "see" those differences and thus there was no problem. However, when our new sync engine was set to default (since the 9.4.0 update), it did notice the capital differences, and thus uploaded the folder or file to myNomadesk.com, making a folder or file online with only a difference in capitals. This then triggers a "duplicate file" warning when those duplicate folders start to sync back to the local PC's.
The only workaround for this issue at this point is to compare the duplicate folder locally and what you see on myNomadesk.com, and then rename the folder that isn't matching manually.
We have release a patched 9.4.0 version for this which is currently live, it will not solve the issue once there are duplicates files online, but it does prevent future ones from happening.
We apologoize for the inconvenience
