"Nomadesk" is damaged error message when running the installer

If you get a "Nomadesk is damaged" error after downloading the installer, please follow the instructions below.

1. The recommended solution is to fully update OSX with the latest patches via the App Store on your Mac.
2. Another option is the allow apps downloaded from anywhere in the security settings:

• go to system preferences  

• go to security and privacy

• go to general and select anywhere under allow apps downloaded from

• after this change you are able to run the installer
