Should your device be stolen or lost you can use TheftGuard to remotely wipe the Vault(s) on that device as soon as the device logs in again. For every device that you use with Nomadesk there is a unique Device ID.
To remotely wipe your Vaults on a stolen device:
- Login at myNomadesk.com
- In the top right of the screen, go to TheftGuard
- In the overview list you can see all your devices, both active and wiped
- Click on the device that you want to wipe, which will show more information about that device. Do note; you can't wipe Browser devices as they don't have local data
- Click Wipe Data to remotely wipe the Vault(s) on that device
- Also change your password in case of a stolen device.
